Travel & Leisure: You-print Valentine's Day
card
On
the outside it looks like a typical romantic heart card - but when you
open it up, there's an anatomically correct surprise!
The card can either be
printed directly on 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" card stock or cut down from 8
1/2 x 11" or A4 paper.
If using 8 1/2 x 5 1/2"
card stock:
- Download the files
- Print out the card's
inside, the file with the anatomically correct heart, on the card stock.
- Print out the card front
on regular letter-sized paper. This will be your cutting template.
- Flip over the card inside
so that it is face down.
- Align the crop marks
shown on the cutting template with the edges of the card stock print.
- Use a craft knife to
cut out the "romantic" heart shape.
- Fold the card.
- The resulting card should
look like the graphic at right.
If using 8 1/2 x11"
or A4 paper:
- Download the files
- Print out the card's
inside, the file with the anatomically correct heart.
- Using a straight edge
and a craft knife, cut out the edges of the card along the crop marks.
- Flip over the card inside
so that it is face down.
- Print out the card front,
the one with the standard "romantic" heart. This will be your
cutting template.
- Align the crop marks
shown on the cutting template with the edges of the card you've already
cut out.
- Use a craft knife to
cut out the "romantic" heart shape.
- Fold the card.
- The resulting card should
look like the graphic at right.
