Food: February 2007 Mystery Food
The Mystery Food is an homage to those marvelous
school cafeteria lunches of yore.
 
This month there was one great guess!
"At first it looks like cow dung but I think
it's vanilla ice cream balls rolled in crushed Oreos."

Close but no cigar, Melissa. You were on the right track
with the cow dung - it's definitely something nasty!
It's (insert drumroll here) an extreme closeup of moldy
bread! Those little dark things are actually mold spores, and the lighter
areas are the bread. Cool, no? Just one more example of the exquisite
cuisine available here at the Tacky Living test kitchens!
