Travel & Leisure: You-print Valentine's Day card
How do I snub thee? Let me count the ways!

Guys, do you feel pressured into celebrating Valentine's Day when your heart just isn't in it? Maybe your gal has been hinting that she'd like something more romantic than a can of Fix-A-Flat this year, even going so far as to "casually" leave the phone numbers of florists laying around?

We've got you covered. All you have to do is print out our handy-dandy Valentine's Day card on standard-sized paper and your Valentine's Day problems will go away. Of course, your gal probably will too, but that's life.

On the outside it looks like a typical card, with the contemporary heart graphic shown at right. On the inside, there's the ethereal prose:

Valentine,
I thought about getting you flowers and chocolates, but ...

__ they'll be cheaper at the after-Valentines sales
__ there wasn't a gas station on the way.
__ I'm not that into you.
__ your subscription to Brides Magazine is starting to scare me.
__ I've only been stalking you a week.
__ I don't have a job.
__ I've been thinking about breaking up with you.
__ if I give some to you, I'll have to give them to all my other girlfriends.
__ your husband is a lot bigger than me.

To make the card:

  • Download the files
  • Print the card's inside on standard 8 1/2 x 11" paper.
  • Flip the paper over, place it back in the printer, and print the card's outside.
  • Fold it in the middle
  • Give it to your S.O. and stand back while the sparks fly!
