Ingredients:
- One package hot dogs (Beef is preferable to
chicken or tofu because it burns a little better.)
- One yellow onion, chopped
- Grated yellow cheese (What type of cheese?
Yellow!)
- Barbecue sauce
Remember, the goal of this recipe is to render
the hotdogs unrecognizable.
- Turn on broiler to its maximum setting.
- Slice hot dogs lengthwise to make "boats".
Place in broiler-safe dish and broil until browned.
- Fill hotdogs with chopped onion. Broil until
hot dogs are almost blackened.
- Smother with barbecue sauce and yellow cheese.
How much of each? Darned if I know. Just pile the stuff on there until
you can't see the remains of the hot dogs anymore.
- Broil until cheese is melted and barbecue sauce
is bubbling.
Accompany with instant mashed potatoes and store
brand canned green beans.
Mmmmm. Chock full of sulfitey goodness!
